Full Text

When autumn falls and winter calls, Light begins to fade. When cold moves in with the howling wind, We feel the seasons change. Creatures are bound to go underground. Birds fly away. Flowers are gone, we crave the dawn As the moon feels destined to stay. Trees bear the snow for the branches know Spring will soon appear. The ice of today will melt away As it has year after year. When autumn falls and winter calls, We know the light will fade. Then when days grow long and winter’s sung her song, Your light will return, and then The earth will make amends, So the flowers will bloom again.
